2017 TREE FEST OTTAWA PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST: NEIGHBOURHOOD TREES
Images and stories have the power to change the world.
And we're using that power to inspire people to take action to support trees in our environment.
One, photo, one story, one exhibit at a time.
2017 Photo Contest Description
What's the tree that catches your eye every time you step outside? The one you watch grow or shed leaves as the seasons change, year after year? The one you hug when you think nobody's looking?
Here's the challenge: Introduce us -- with a photo -- to your favourite neighbourhood tree and tell us why you chose it.
For this contest we want to showcase those 'everyday' special trees that -- beyond the fact that they shade our streets and are part of our daily lives -- are worthy of being acknowledged.
By submitting an entry, you are helping us to spread appreciation and knowledge about our urban trees.

Twelve winning submissions will be enlarged and professionally exhibited in the fall of 2107.
