TREE FEST OTTAWA
FALL TREE FESTIVAL
Brewer Park by Brewer Pond
IN SUPPORT OF FESTIVAL PROGRAMMING
Tree Fest Ottawa, a community-based organization engages the public on the wonders and importance of trees, our urban forest and nature within our city.
On September 23rd and 24th, we are hosting our second annual fall tree festival to celebrate trees. Located in the natural setting of Brewer Park, around the pond, the free public festival will feature a diversity of programming and activities for all ages. There will be workshops, guided walks, play areas for kids, scavenger hunts, music performances, storytelling, tree planting and a pop up café.
The festival -- which is free of charge -- is run entirely by a core group of dedicated volunteers. The City of Ottawa provided a grant to cover direct costs such as equipment rental. However, there are professional fees associated with booking music performances, artists and workshops leaders.
And this is where we are looking for community support.
$100 - $200 - Workshop Sponsor
$500 - One Day Sponsor
$1,000 - Festival Sponsor
As individuals and/or businesses interested in sponsoring this community-based initiative, we will happily recognize your contribution on our website, signage at the festival and in our community outreach efforts.
The festival brings people closer to nature in our city, and helps build community support for our urban forest!
